Interior Design Coaching Tip Of The Week – High Leverage Learning
If you’re not improving your skills every week, you’re losing your edge. It is so important to take some time to think about the areas that are keeping you from being as successful as you want to be.
We’ve shared a few videos about this, and if you really take some time to think about this more deeply, you will really benefit from it.
Write down your top 3 skills. What are you really great at doing? Do those skills drive your business success (lead to clients, profit or revenue)? If you were 10% better at those top 3 skills, do you think you would be even more than 10% more successful with your business?
What is your absolutely top skill? Is it a driver in your business? What if you focused on that one skill and tried to improve that by 20%? If you are great at client relationships, what if you were at the top of your game and in the zone? You might be the best in your market area and get business hands down over others.
Here are the biggest insights to share with you (they are not my original ideas):
- Hone your top 3 skills especially if they are business drivers and your business will grow exponentially.
- Do not try to improve your weaknesses – outsource, don’t do them or delegate. If you think you can’t afford to do this, you can’t afford not do do this.
- Invest in your education…it is part of your killer business success strategy. Look for the best teachers you can find and learn everything you can.
What are your natural tendencies? If you have any questions about this, you might consider taking the
Kolbe A Index Test . Erin and I have taken this and every time I review the results, I learn even more.
PS – Remember, every time you post a comment, it links back to your blog when you list your URL or web address. This increases your Google page rank the more you comment on higher ranked websites. Post away…we’d love to hear your thoughts.
